Pendulum Drop (“the Game”, “we”, “us”) is an independently developed Android game. This policy explains what information is collected when you play, how it is used, and the choices you have.
For any privacy-related question or request, contact us at:
Email: BEHTAREENCODER@GMAIL.COM
We deliberately keep this to the minimum. The categories below are split by who handles the data.
The game stores the following locally in a file on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party:
If you uninstall the game, this file is deleted with it.
The game displays advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To do this, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects:
Google uses this information to serve ads, prevent fraud, and measure ad performance. It may also use it for its own purposes as described in Google’s privacy policy.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to show you a consent form before any personalised advertising loads. The form records your choice, and that choice is stored locally by the Google SDK. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the app’s data in your device settings and reopening the game.
If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games from the game’s menu, Google shares your public player display name and player ID with the game so that your scores can appear on a leaderboard. This is entirely optional. If you never tap the sign-in button, no Play Games data is exchanged.
If you use the share button, the game generates a score image on your device and hands it to the Android share sheet. We do not see which app you share it to, and the image never passes through us.
We do not collect or request:
We use the small amount of information described above to:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for profiling outside of advertising. We do not use it to contact you.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
We do not share information with anyone ourselves. However, the SDKs built into the game share information directly with Google:
| Provider | Purpose | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Serving banner and rewarded ads | https://policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google UMP SDK | Gathering consent in the EU/UK | https://policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google Play Games Services | Optional leaderboards | https://policies.google.com/privacy |
Google may share information with its own advertising partners and ad networks, which are listed in AdMob’s published list of certified ad technology providers. You can find that list inside your Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com.
We do not share information with any analytics provider. The game contains no analytics SDK.
Google is a US-based company with data centres worldwide. When you play, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EU/UK, including the United States. Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses to make these transfers lawful. You can read more in Google’s privacy policy.
You have the right to:
Because we do not hold accounts or run servers, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device: uninstalling the game deletes all local data, and resetting your Android Advertising ID removes any link between past ad activity and you. For requests that require action from Google, contact Google directly through its privacy tools.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to:
We do not sell personal information for money. Google AdMob may “share” information as that term is defined under the CPRA (for cross-context behavioural advertising). To opt out, either:
Because we do not have accounts, we cannot locate records by name or email. Requests to delete data held by Google must be sent to Google directly.
If you are in a jurisdiction with its own privacy law (for example, Brazil’s LGPD, Canada’s PIPEDA, or Australia’s Privacy Act), you have the rights granted by those laws. Contact us and we will honour them to the extent we are able, given that we hold no personal data ourselves.
The game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to the game, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Because the game shows advertising, it is classified for users aged 13 and above in the Google Play Store. It is not listed in Google Play’s Designed for Families programme, and it does not use ad networks that target children.
We take the following measures to protect your information:
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit the amount of data involved so that the impact of any incident is small.
Your Android device has an Advertising ID that apps use for ad targeting. You can:
If you delete or reset your Advertising ID, ads will still appear in the game but they will not be based on your prior activity.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will also make an announcement in the game the next time you open it. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
If you have questions about this policy, want to exercise your rights, or have a complaint, contact:
Email: BEHTAREENCODER@GMAIL.COM
We will respond within 30 days, as required by GDPR and the CCPA.
If you are in the EU/UK and are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. If you are in California, you may contact the California Attorney General’s office.
